I'm Morton, the founder of U.S. Visa Pros. As the child of immigrants and a former visa officer, I have a unique background and expertise in understanding the benefits of traveling, working, and living in the United States. Non-Immigrant Visas: Interviewed and adjudicated over 20,000 visas across all non-immigrant visa classifications. Led teams of visa officers and local staff annually processing hundreds of thousands of visas. Led training and policy implementation for adjudication of: F, M, J visas Petitions - H1-B, L1-A/B, O, P, and R visas E-2 treaty/trader investor visas. B1/B2, C1/D, H in lieu of B

Immigrant Visas: Adjudicated thousands of visas across all immigrant visa classifications, including employment based (E-1, E-2, E-3/EW-3, I-5), family-based petitions (IR-1/CR-1, IR-2/CR-2, K, adoptions), and diversity visas. Expert in employment-based visa requirements, leading the worldwide investigation and review of EW-3 visa processing.

Challenging Visa Applications: Led the Fraud Prevention Team at U.S. Embassy Seoul, coordinating document review of all non-immigrant and immigrant visa applicants. Conducted outreach to visa agencies on best practices to support visa applicants. Coordinated the multi-agency investigation by the U.S. government regarding potentially fraudulent visa applications. Work led to the worldwide halt of USCIS processing and Department of State adjudication of all EB-3 visa petitions.

Visa Policy Expert: Served as lead staffer in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs, the senior official responsible for setting visa policy for the U.S. government. Coordinated and disseminated visa policy set by the White House to 200+ consular sections around the world on subjects including COVID visa restrictions, monthly visa bulletins, and all aspects of visa processing.
